Estados Unidos.-El estadunidense Stephen Hillenburg, creador de la célebre caricatura ‘Bob Esponja’ (‘SpongeBob SquarePants’), murió a los 57 años, anunció hoy Nickelodeon.
En un mensaje en Twitter, el canal de televisión para niños notificó el deceso de Hillenburg.
«Nos entristece compartir la noticia de la muerte de Stephen Hillenburg, el creador de Bob Esponja”, dijo Nickelodeon.

Stephen Hillenburg, el creador de la popular serie de dibujos animados ‘Bob Esponja’, falleció este martes tras una lucha con la esclerosis lateral amiotrófica.
El año pasado, Hillenburg reveló haber sido diagnosticado con esta enfermedad neurodegenerativa.
